Auditioning with PHE

Auditioning with PHE is a simple, three-step process!

Please complete the form below if you are interested in auditioning.

  • We’ll ask you to ring two selections with members of the ensemble to assess how you read and work along with the members of the ensemble. One piece will be given ahead of time to prepare while the other will assess your ability to sight read.

  • You will be assessed on your music theory knowledge and your ability to hear/detect rhythms. This will be done on a one-on-one basis.

  • The Board of Directors will sit down with you to ask questions, as well as give you the opportunity to ask us questions on how PHE works.

We audition yearly in August, and as needed in January. Once you’re a member of PHE, you are a part of our family! If you’re ready to join us, we are ready to have you on board! Fill out our form below!
